What is Maternity Photography?
Maternity photography is a beautiful, uplifting, and life-affirming experience that allows you to focus on the new life your body is working hard to create. It’s a brief moment in time that can remind you of the excitement that comes with having a baby.
Maternity portraits are typically taken between 26-34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round and you still feel comfortable.
What to Wear for Maternity Portraits
You can choose from my collection of dresses, bodysuits, and flowing wrap material, or you can bring your own. If you prefer to purchase a dress, I recommend checking out Silk Fairies, Mii Estilo, and Chicaboo. Alternatively, you can rent a dress from Mama Bump Rentals.
Hair and makeup
I can arrange for professional hair and makeup artists who specialize in photography makeup to assist you. They can either come to you or meet us at the studio’s hair and makeup room. Please inform me if you are interested in this service. Otherwise, please arrive at the studio with your hair and makeup already done.
Partner and Other Children
Partners and other children you have are always encouraged to participate in the session.
Extra Images and Deposits
If you want to purchase additional images, you need to upgrade to the next collection before your session date. The number of photos I capture will be based on the package you’ve chosen. A 50% deposit is required to schedule your session, with the remaining balance due on the day of your photoshoot.

Your Maternity Portrait Session is up to 2 hours with 2-3 background set ups.
This session includes 15 hand retouched digital images of your choice.
10 fine art 8×10 prints or two 16×24 prints.

This session includes 10 high resolution, hand edited digital images and one 16×24 or 16×20 or 16×16 (depending on the crop) fine art print of your choice on velvet art paper. This print is dry mounted on foam core board ready for framing.
Petite (mini) Fine Art Maternity Session | complimentary with purchase of birth photography
Your Maternity Portrait Session is up to 60 minutes with one background set up (light or dark).
